Landscapes

Loving the outdoors is a past time for me. My father raised me in the woods I'd like to think. For as long as I can remember hunting, fishing, hiking, and just being outside has always come second nature. That's where I feel comfortable. And luckily enough we have always lived on property that has accompanied my needs, or pleasures. Currently though I reside in an apartment away from my parents. However, they still live on 10 acres that backs up to a well known creek in the area, Peruque Creek. Which runs from the Missouri river, through Lake St. Louis, and empties out somewhere I have not determined yet. I always have fun running around down in the woods which I have pictured in Assignment 5. Hope you like them as much as I do.

Assignment 4 Using the "Flash"

Tough!! It was very hard to catch everything you want. I don't know if I was using it in the way that was described in the assignment, however I was happy with a lot of the pics. I had it separated into two pages because I posted the paintball ones on another website. The weekend was cloudy and rainy but I don't think it matters too much when your using your flashes. It was for sure an eye opener on how experienced I think I am with my digi. Although it is just your basic point and shoot with auto settings I am happy that it does have its manual settings. Very tough though.

Happy Birthday to Jaxon

Those of you who don't know me...ok that should be like everyone reading this... I have a 11 month old who this Fri. is turning one year old! I don't know how I got him this far, but luckily he's made it! For me though, don't ask. I still don't know where we're having the party or what I'm supose to do for that matter. But I'm sure he won't remember it, just joking, but prolly so. All I hope is to be as good a father as mine was to me. And I hope he loves me just as much someday. Don't know if this is what im suppose to be BLOGING about but, whatever.

First week done!

So much to do with so little time! Everything is moving so fast as I try and catch up to life as it zooms by. Sometimes I think I'm running fast enough to jump on the train only to realize in mid air that it wasn't enough. Now I lay face down in the muck and the mire trying to figure it all out. Getting to know the computer again is a huge step. After a long period apart its amazing all the changes that occur. Luckily I have the capability to catch up quick. I always carry a towel to wipe the dirt off me as I realize it was the wrong train anyway. So I get up, check the ticket, and start off again. Hopefully to find the right Link to get on.
